This is a targeted safety notice for the proper and safe use of bow ties and ties (cotton, silk, wool, viscose, polyester; self-tie and pre-tied, with hook, clip, elastic band, Velcro, magnetic fastening, with brooches/pins, with metal elements). Since they may contain small parts, metal and magnetic components, sharp needles/pins, and can exert pressure around the neck if improperly tightened, please follow the instructions below.

Basic Safety and Handling Principles

• Keep out of reach of children: Clips, hooks, brooches, magnets, and small parts pose a choking/inhalation hazard; the product is not a toy.
• Check before use: Inspect seams, fastenings, elastics, and edges; do not use if any part is damaged or pulled out.
• Fire and heat: Most textiles are flammable; avoid open flames, candles, sparks, and hot appliances.
• Sharp elements: When handling pins/needles, avoid pricking and damaging clothing; always secure unused needles.
• Magnetic parts: Keep away from payment cards and sensitive electronics; persons with implanted devices should maintain a safe distance from strong magnets.

Proper and Safe Use

• Appropriate tightening: Bow ties and ties must not restrict breathing or blood circulation; for children, use only safe, easily releasable fastenings.
• Tying and position: Tie so that the knot does not exert excessive pressure on the neck; secure long tie ends to prevent catching.

Specific Health Warnings
