9D Izmael premium protective glass for Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 - Transparent
Code #23152
Expected delivery: 20 Oct · 30-day returns
We present to you the premium Izmael protective glasses, created in collaboration with leading manufacturers. Our goal was to offer high quality at an affordable price, with the Izmael glasses meeting the standards for smartphone protection accessories. With the Izmael protective glass, your Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 will be reliably protected against everyday hazards.
The 9D protective glass protects only the flat part of the display. This means it is primarily suitable for phones whose display has a flat surface. For phones with a curved display – where the edges of the display curve – this glass will cover only the flat part of the display and ends where the display begins to bend. The glass adheres to the entire surface of the flat part of the display, guaranteeing perfect adhesion and protection of this area.
The 9D protective glass is also case friendly, meaning it is designed to be compatible with various phone protective cases. The glass is a few millimeters smaller than the edges of the display, depending on the specific phone model, to prevent interference or displacement of the glass by the protective case. This solution ensures that the glass reliably protects the display while allowing seamless use of a case.
Application Instructions for the Protective Glass
Installing the protective glass is simple and quick. Thoroughly clean the display with the included alcohol-soaked cloth. After drying, use the included microfiber cloth to polish the surface. Ensure there are no dirt particles on the display, especially near the speaker. When applying, make sure to center the glass correctly so that after pressing, it adheres perfectly and the air is pushed out from the center to the edges. What is 9H Hardness?
9H hardness is a measure of scratch resistance, based on the Mohs scale of hardness (1-10), with 9H indicating extreme durability similar to the mineral corundum. This means that the glass is significantly more resistant than regular protective films, which have a hardness of only around 3-4H. Glasses with 9H hardness reliably protect the display from impacts and scratches, providing three times the protection compared to standard films.
After applying the protective glass, the touch properties of the display and its color rendering are not diminished. The optical properties remain perfectly intact, ensuring a clear and flawless image.

Important safety notice for tempered phone glass in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2023/988 on general product safety (GPSR)
This is a targeted safety notice for the correct and safe use of tempered phone glass (glass protective films with adhesive layer). As it is a fragile product that may shatter when damaged and contains small parts and adhesive, please follow the instructions below to avoid injuries and damage.
Basic safety and handling principles
- Keep out of reach of children: There is a risk of cuts and choking on small parts and packaging films; the product is not a toy.
- Brittleness and edges: Do not bend or apply force to the glass; do not use the product if it is cracked or chipped.
- Workplace: Apply on a clean, dry, and dust-free surface; work on a stable table and away from heat sources and open flames.
- Compatibility: Use only model-matching glass; check cutouts for sensors, camera, and compatibility with cases and fingerprint sensors.
Correct and safe use
- Preparation and application: Degrease and dry the display; align the glass and press from the center to the edges. Push out bubbles with a plastic card; do not use metal tools.
- Reapplication: Repeated removal reduces adhesion and may damage the glass; follow the manufacturer's instructions.
- Removal: If the glass is cracked, first tape the surface and then slowly lift from a corner; be careful of sharp fragments.
- Limitations: Tempered glass mainly protects against scratches; it does not guarantee resistance to drops or impacts.
Cleaning, maintenance, and storage
- Cleaning: Clean with a microfiber cloth; if necessary, use a mild alcohol solution. Do not use abrasive agents or acetone.
- Maintenance: Replace the glass if edges peel or cracks appear to avoid cuts and dirt ingress.
- Storage: Keep unused glass in the original flat packaging, in a dry place away from direct sunlight; protect from bending.
Specific health warnings
- Skin sensitivity: Adhesives and cleaning solutions may cause irritation in sensitive individuals; discontinue use and wash skin if a reaction occurs.
- Visibility: Privacy glasses reduce viewing angle and brightness; do not use if it could impair safe device operation.
Disposal
- Safe disposal: Wrap used or broken glass in paper or tape and dispose of according to local glass disposal regulations; sort packaging films and plastic parts separately.
Incidents and contact
- In case of an incident (cut, device damage), stop using the product immediately. Keep the product and proof of purchase for complaint processing.
